Featuring a pattern of lattice work and scallop shells, the Cape Cod Cotton Matelasse Bedspread is a heavyweight design favored for its subtle coastal theme that fits any decor.
Originally introduced as a flat jacquard in the 1970s, this design was discontinued when Bates slowed their weaving of “flat jacqs” in favor of the more popular matelasse bedspreads. In the early 2000s, the Cape Cod was reintroduced as the matelasse bedspread we continue to produce today.

I was wondering how long it would take me to receive the bedspread. There wasn’t any info when I ordered it about how long it takes. Someone opened my Shop App and pressed the received button, but I don’t have the bedspread yet. Can you help?

I was leary of buying the Cape Cod initially because I was concerned about its weight (heavyweight). I ordered instead Lisa's Choice which is described as mid weight. Because I wasn't in love with Lisa's Choice when I saw it in the room, I returned it and ordered the Cape Cod in white and now I am very, very pleased. Actually, the difference in weight isn't that much. So, if you like either a "heavy" weight or a "mid" weight bedspread design, I would go with the design of your choice and not worry about the weight difference. The Cape Cod is elegant without being overly so. In white, it is pretty to look at without demanding attention. It will lend itself to a lot of different design choices in the room. I am happy to make such a quality purchase.
