About Our Made in USA Cotton Matelasse Coverlets

Our American made Matelasse Coverlets are a stylish addition to any bedroom. Matelasse weaving goes back to the 18th century. Originally made by hand, this historical weave appears to be quilted rather than loom woven, giving the fabric a gorgeous “puffed” appearance.

Our 100% cotton Matelasse Coverlets are available in many of the same designs as our traditional Matelasse Bedspreads. The shorter length gives the coverlet a slightly more modern twist. Pair one of our woven coverlets with a blanket or duvet cover for cold nights, or use it as a stunning stand alone bed cover in warmer seasons.

Our Cotton Matelasse Coverlets are woven and stitched entirely in the USA by our family-owned mill in Maine. 100% Preshrunk Cotton, Machine Wash & Dry.
