The Cable Weave Blanket is our lightest weight blanket available. Woven from breathable American grown and spun cotton, this soft blanket layers perfectly underneath one of our traditional bedspreads.

In warmer climates or during the summer months, it can be used over a top sheet as a simple yet elegant bed topper. For a cozy living room accent, choose a throw blanket size!

Like all of our made in USA blankets, the Cable Weave Blanket is woven and stitched at our family-owned mill in the beautiful state of Maine. Finished with a double needle plain hem on all four sides.

Great quality

The weight is good for warm weather, not too heavy. It has a nicely finished border so it will hold up with laundering. Purchased the full/queen size. I was worried it would be too short but it fits our queen-sized bed with extra coverage on the edges even after washing.

The Bates cable weave cotton blanket is beautiful. It has a nice weight and breathes well. It is warm and very comfortable. Definitely my favorite blanket. I just sent another one to my brother as a gift.

Perfect lightweight blanket!

Such quality - love this lightweight weave - perfect as a summer blanket in Florida- it’s comfortable to the touch, beautiful on the bed and of the highest quality. I purchased “antique” for a more natural vibe for the Florida summer using it as the top cover like a bedspread. Love it - very happy that I made this purchase. Our family has been purchasing from Bates since the 1940’’s.
