I searched high and low for this bedspread and it didn't disappoint. The weight, quality and design are perfect. The white is snow white which isn't easy to find. It is a throwback in time for me as my mother and grandmother kept similar bedspreads decades ago. What nostalgic feelings I had once it was on my bed. Bates even accommodated my request for a band vs. fringe! It is ample in size yet not heavy and not thin. I don't know how they do it. I love that it is manufactured in the U.S.A. and Bates Mill is in operation. Thank you Bates Mill employees, your craftsmanship exceeded my expectations!

I received my bedspread yesterday and after unwrapping it, immediately proceeded to place it over my full size bed. It was then I realized how comfortably soft and weighty it is, despite it being advertised as a medium weight.
Last night was unusually very cool for a Maryland mid-April; and being excited about using my new spread for the first time, I layered it over cotton sheets and felt toasty warm, proving the point that I really didn’t need a blanket!
After I made the bed this morning, I spent a couple moments admiring the quality stitching and artistry that so proudly is meshed into this bedding, that is in reality a work of art in itself! Honestly stating, the bedspread is now THE focal point of my bedroom.
Thanks so much Bates Employees for my beautiful made-right-here in the USA 🇺🇸 bedding. Oh yeah, I now understand why one customer commented that Bates furnishings are heirloom quality. I know exactly who will be receiving this when that time rolls around. 😉
This bedspread is beautiful! Love the quality and details. Also, the shipping took a lot less time than what was stated. Yes, it is big, but a bedspread should go down to the floor. I would definitely purchase again. Thank you!
My husband does not care for comforter sets. We have a king sized bed. It has always been a problem finding a bedspread that is large enough. This bedspread fits perfectly. I love the pattern as well. The quality is great!
