The George Washington’s Choice Blanket is our oldest and most popular blanket design. Available in 6 colors, this heavyweight blanket is as decorative as it is warm. This heirloom-quality blanket is loom woven from American grown and spun cotton, and the design has a similar appearance to popular cable knit blankets.

The George Washington’s Choice is finished with a double needle plain hem on all four sides. Like all of our made in USA blankets, this blanket is woven and stitched at our family-owned mill in the beautiful state of Maine.

Pretty Darn Comfy

This blanket is worth the price and the lead time for shipping (it does take a bit to be made / shipped, FYI). It’s big. Like plenty plenty big for a king, which is great. I don’t want to fight for enough blanket and now we don’t have to. The weave is tight and the weight mid. We’ve been using it as a standalone summer blanket and have been comfortably warm. I’m really happy I stumbled upon this manufacturer. The white color is a true bright white. Would recommend!

Heirloom Gift

I purchased one of these beautiful blankets and ordered one for my grand-daughter. She, too, loves this beautiful blanket. Elegant simplicity and lovely colors make this quality blanket an heirloom. I still have a coverlet my mother purchased in 1950. The quality cannot be surpassed.
