Custom Bedspreads: How It Works

1. What do you offer for custom services?

    We offer extra-wide queen bedspread sizes.

    2. Which bedspread patterns are available for extra-wide queen sizing?

      3. Why aren’t all patterns and sizes available for custom sizing?

      The simple answer is that we do not have the loom patterns available for custom sizing in every design. 

      4. How much does custom sizing cost?

        The custom fee is 25% of the cost of the item being customized.

        5. Can I apply a promotion code to a custom order?

        No. Custom items are not eligible for discounts or promotions.

        6. How do I measure for custom sizing?

        Remove all current bedding and measure from the seam at the top edge of the mattress down to the floor (or wherever you’d like the bedspread end).  We recommend measuring to at least an inch off the floor to avoid dragging.  This measurement is referred to as the drop and this is the only measurement we need from you in order to calculate your custom size.

        7. How can you know what size bedspread I need with only the drop measurement?

        Queen mattresses are manufactured with standard dimensions: 60”W x 80”L.  The only measurement that varies is the height of the bed, otherwise referred to as the drop. To calculate the overall width of the bedspread, we multiply the drop by two (for each side of the bed) and add the width of the mattress (60 inches). We then adjust the drop on the foot to match the sides, and this is how we determine the overall length.

        8. Are there limits to how big a custom bedspread can be?

        Yes.  We can only accommodate custom drop lengths between 22 and 28 inches (up to 116 inches in total width) for the queen size bedspread patterns listed in question #2.

        9. Can I send my bedspread back for alterations if necessary?

        Yes. We will be happy to alter the drop on your bedspread should you find it to be a bit too long (please note we cannot add length). There will be a $25.00 charge for alterations plus shipping costs.

        10. Can I return my custom item for a refund?

        Custom items are non-refundable, but they can be sent back for alterations.  We recommend that you request a set of our fabric swatches ahead of time to review the color options in person before placing a custom order.  Our customer service team is also available to answer any questions you may have and to help you make an informed purchase.
