Like all of our made in USA blankets, the Cathedral Blanket is woven and stitched at our family-owned mill in the beautiful state of Maine. Made out of 100% American grown and spun cotton, and finished with a double needle plain hem on all four sides.

If you’re looking for a high-quality, 100% American-made blanket that keeps you comfortable year-round—whether you run hot or cold—Bates is the way to go.

I own seven pieces from Bates and love every single one. They're soft, breathable, and you can truly feel the quality.

Be aware that, like many high-quality textiles, these blankets will shed quite a bit of lint during the first few drying cycles—enough to fill a lint trap (multiple times in the first few cycles!) Be sure to clean the trap thoroughly. Once that’s done, you’ll be cozy and content under a truly exceptional blanket.

I 100% recommend Bates to friends and family, and I’m already looking forward to adding more to my collection!

perfectly lovely!

The blanket is really beautiful - it is heavier than I expected - so I know that we will be using it all through fall and spring. It is large and hangs nicely over the edges of the mattress. The weave is beautiful! I am thrilled!

No more tug of War

My husband and I love our new cotton blanket that is wider than traditional blankets. Now we are not waking each other up at night pulling on the covers. It is wonderfully made in the USA.

Phenomenal blanket!

This blanket is exactly what I was looking for. I used to use blankets from the big box stores, but they never worked. They either left me too hot or too cold. This Cathedral cotton blanket is absolutely perfect! And the fact that it’s made in America is the icing on the cake. I love this blanket!
