Spring in Maine: Fun Events in Maine for Locals & Visitors
Spring is a fickle season in Maine. One day there’s sun, with temperatures near 60 degrees, and the next is chilly with an unwelcomed snowfall. Winter clings on and fights until the bitter end, much to our chagrin. All the more reason to get out, see some sights, and shake off winter (at least, mentally and emotionally) during the April and May months. Spring is coming, we promise!

April 18th - 9th 32nd Annual Gem and Mineral Show
Put on by the Maine Mineralogical and Geological Society, this is event is a must-attend for any rock enthusiast. Dealers of precious stones, rare fossils, and rare minerals come from around the world to display their wares, making this show one of the largest of its kind in New England. April 28th Gulf of Maine Seafood Celebration
Indulge in a selection of exquisite seafood dishes while learning about Maine’s fascinating marine environment.
